Duke of York Square | KINGS ROAD

Cadogan Estate’s portfolio includes the stylish Duke of York’s Square on the Kings Road.

The Duke of York Square, located opposite Peter Jones, is a fusion of original architecture mixed with new classical design. Created in 2002 from the former Territorial Army Barracks (and Royal Military School), it is now the home of the famous Saatchi Gallery. One of London’s “must see” destinations for modern art, the Gallery hosts both permanent and visiting international collections.

Every Saturday between 10.00am and 4.00pm the Duke of York’s Square hosts an open air fine food market. This offers both fresh produce and an eclectic range of international eating experiences.

The relaxed surroundings of the Square set amongst striking water features provide a stunning oasis of elegance and history. With over 30 retail units and a choice of six café/restaurants all with external seating, it is quite simply a beautiful place to enjoy life. It hosts a wonderful choice of retailers encompassing lifestyle brands and stylish contemporary fashion. Anchored by one of Zara’s largest stores in Europe, it is also home to the only Liz Earle and Mary Quant stores in the UK.  (To find out more see The Duke of York Square pages on facebook.  And from summer 2011, visit the website at www.dukeofyorksquare.com.)
