Cadogan welcomes new Head of Place

Contributing to Cadogan’s long-term stewardship of Chelsea, Seren Hirons will drive the firm’s placemaking strategy

Cadogan announces the appointment of Seren Hirons as Head of Place to drive the firm’s placemaking strategy, further strengthening the appeal of Chelsea as one of the world’s most desirable and thriving neighbourhoods.

Hirons is a senior destination place and marketing expert with over two decades’ experience. She has successfully delivered and managed complex multi-stakeholder programmes and activations for some of the UK’s leading destinations including the City of London, McArthurGlen Designer Outlets, Grosvenor Estate and Oxford Street. She joins Cadogan after 10 years at Four Communications where she was most recently Managing Director of Brand & Luxury, co-leading the destination division.

Seren joins as major projects such as the Sloane Street transformation and The Gaumont, a new commercial and creative hub for the King’s Road, near completion. These follow the successful creation of Pavilion Road as a new community hub focusing on independent food artisans. Significant progress has also been made on ‘Chelsea 2030’, Cadogan’s stewardship strategy outlining environmental and social impact targets to support a thriving community and contribute to a more sustainable future for London.

Hugh Seaborn, Chief Executive of Cadogan, said “I am delighted to welcome Seren to the Cadogan team. Our purpose is to ensure the long-term vitality of the neighbourhood – working closely with the community to deliver bold and exciting initiatives. Seren brings with her a wealth of strategic and creative experience which will be invaluable to the management of the Estate as we look to strengthen Chelsea’s position as one of the world’s best places to live, work and visit.”

Seren Hirons, Head of Place, comments “I am thrilled to join such a dynamic team with a stellar reputation. Cadogan has been steward of the iconic neighbourhood of Chelsea for over 300 years, carefully shaping and building it into one of London’s most distinctive and attractive places.

I am passionate about enhancing the power of a place and being a part of building the future of this remarkable area of London – through community, collaboration, vibrancy and tapping into its unique identity – is incredibly exciting.”
