Chelsea Arts Festival | 16-20 September 2026

Where world-class talent meets one of London’s most creative neighbourhoods

This September, Chelsea Arts Festival returns for its second year, bringing together some of the world’s leading writers, artists, performers and cultural thinkers for five days of creativity, conversation and discovery across Chelsea. From 16-20 September, iconic venues and public spaces throughout the neighbourhood will host an inspiring programme spanning literature, film, theatre, music, visual arts, comedy and performance.

Produced by Country & Town House in association with Cadogan, the festival celebrates the creative spirit that has defined Chelsea for generations while championing the ideas, talent and cultural voices shaping its future. This year’s programme features an exceptional line-up including Fiona Shaw, Indira Varma, Asa Butterfield, Bernardine Evaristo, Katherine Rundell, Susie Cave, Bella Freud, Mishal Husain, Gavin Turk and Rambert, alongside emerging artists and new creative talent.

Highlights include an exclusive appearance from the cast and creators of Sense and Sensibility ahead of its UK premiere, a special Women’s Prize event hosted by Bernardine Evaristo, a major new partnership with the British Fashion Council, and a vibrant programme marking 50 years since punk first exploded on the King’s Road.

The festival extends well beyond traditional cultural venues. Free outdoor performances will animate Sloane Square and Duke of York Square, while galleries, shops, restaurants, hotels and local businesses across Chelsea will host events and experiences throughout the programme. The popular Chelsea Art Market will transform Duke of York Square into an open-air gallery, bringing together 35 artists, live music and hands-on workshops for visitors of all ages.

As headline partner and host, Cadogan is proud to support a festival that celebrates Chelsea’s rich cultural heritage while reinforcing its position as one of London’s most vibrant and inspiring creative neighbourhoods. By bringing world-class talent together with accessible community experiences, Chelsea Arts Festival continues to make culture part of everyday life across the neighbourhood.
