What makes Chelsea? Its buildings and streets, certainly, but also the people, stories and experiences held within them.
An Honorary Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects, LionHeart’s work explores the relationship between architecture, memory and place. Chelsea Muse is a celebration of the neighbourhood told through poetry, place and film.
LionHeart journeys through Chelsea, reflecting on its distinctive blend of heritage and reinvention, creativity and individuality, from Sloane Street and King’s Road to the cultural landmarks and green spaces around Sloane Square.
Originally commissioned to mark the completion of the Sloane Square public realm improvements, the poem was first performed live at the Royal Court Theatre for partners from the local community.
Now captured on film, Chelsea Muse offers a love letter to the neighbourhood, seen, felt and spoken through LionHeart’s words and eyes.
