Place2Be Christmas Carol Concert, in partnership with Cadogan, raises over £116,000

Place2Be’s star-studded Carol Concert took place at Holy Trinity Church on Sloane Street on 6th December, raising a record-breaking amount for the charity which will help them to continue providing vital mental health support for children and young people across the UK.

Hosted by Place2Be Ambassadors (and well-known broadcasters) Kate Thistleton (BBC) and Yolan Da Brown, the festive evening took place in the beautiful Holy Trinity Church. There were performances by children’s choirs, seasonal songs from BRIT-nominated soprano Laura Wright and internationally acclaimed singer Joe Stilgoe took to the piano. Guests were treated to readings by Sophie Dahl, Giovanna Fletcher, Jordan Stephens, Tom Fletcher and Keeley Hawes, amongst others.

Lord Cadogan, Chairman of Cadogan, the headline sponsor, said: “We, are proud to support the life-changing work Place2Be does both locally and in schools across the UK. This year’s Carol Concert will be the third of its kind sponsored by Cadogan, and the third to be held at Holy Trinity Sloane Square – it means a great deal to us all that this year’s event, held in the heart of Chelsea, will impact on the lives of children and young people around the country.”
