Chelsea welcomes The Little Egg Hunt

Her Majesty The Queen’s Charity Unveils “Egg-citing” Art Display in Chelsea until 15 April 2024

Elephant Family, Clarence Court and Cadogan, are proud to announce the return of their much-loved egg-shaped sculptures to Chelsea, London in a celebration of art, philanthropy, and Easter merriment. The art exhibition will be open to the public to enjoy until 15 April 2024.

The large-scale dozen eggs on display around Sloane Square in London’s Chelsea have been handcrafted by leading figures from art, design, architecture and beyond, including Anya Hindmarch, Philip Colbert, Charlotte Colbert, Dan Baldwin, James McQueen, Bellerby Globe, Natasha Kumar, Lily Lewis, Allegra Hicks, Chris Levine, Rob Ryan and the dynamic duo Rob and Nick Carter. Hicks, recognised internationally for her designs for interiors and upholstery, candidly explained her motivation behind being part of the project, stating that, “Wildlife conservation has become essential for our future”.

The Royal charity, Elephant Family, has dazzled the world with its public art displays, crafting masterpieces that not only captivate the imagination but also stir hearts and ignite change. Founded in 2003 by The Queen’s late brother, the visionary Mark Shand, Elephant Family stands as a beacon of hope for Asian wildlife conservation. His Majesty King Charles III and Her Majesty The Queen are joint Royal Presidents of Elephant Family and passionate supporters of conservation work.

The Little Egg Hunt serves as an egg-cellent prelude to the grand spectacle of the Big Egg Hunt 2025. Over Easter next year, 200 eggs will grace London’s iconic landmarks, showcasing artistry and awareness raising across the cityscape, before being auctioned to raise money for important conservation work.

At the heart of the Little Egg Hunt is collaboration and community, the mission to make art accessible to all and to ignite conversations about conservation.
