The Ever After Garden Blooms in Chelsea from 13th November – 16th December

Returning for a sixth shimmering season, the Ever After Garden, opened by Helena Bonham Carter, turns Duke of York Square’s green into a softly luminous winter dreamscape at Chelsea’s heart in aid of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

Over 30,000 illuminated white roses create a stunning winter display (on the green in front of the Saatchi Gallery) offering visitors a place to pause and remember loved ones while supporting The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

The garden was officially opened by actor Helena Bonham Carter, who praised the initiative as “a unique and imaginative way to remember those we love while supporting life-saving work.”

Created by designer Anya Hindmarch, writer Camilla Morton and Lady Helen Taylor, the Ever After Garden was inspired by their friend, the late production designer Michael Howells, whose work included the film Ever After. Since its launch in 2019, the garden has raised more than £1.2 million, funding pioneering cancer research at The Royal Marsden.

Visitors are invited to dedicate a rose in memory of someone special, with a suggested donation of £15. Every dedication helps The Royal Marsden continue its vital work for patients across the UK and beyond. Those unable to visit can dedicate a rose online

Antonia Dalmahoy, Managing Director of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, said: “Every year, the Ever After Garden provides a beautiful way to remember those who are most important to us, while making a lasting difference to people affected by cancer around the world.”

Open daily from 3pm to 9pm until 16 December, the garden is free to enter and promises a poignant experience for all.

This year’s installation is supported by Cadogan as location partner, reflecting our commitment to bringing meaningful experiences to Chelsea and ensuring this much-loved installation continues to shine as part of London’s festive landscape. Other partners include Brookfield and Nationwide Building Society. The launch event was hosted in partnership with The Cadogan, A Belmond Hotel, alongside Champagne Billecart-Salmon.

The Ever After Garden is a cherished part of London’s winter activity, fulfilling its founders’ vision to create a place of beauty and connection, where every rose honours a memory and helps fund life-saving research for the future.
