Join Us to Celebrate Chinese New Year – 21st February 2026
Welcoming the Year of the Fire Horse with vibrant traditions and culinary delights.
On Saturday 21 February 2026, Chelsea will celebrate Chinese New Year in style. This year honours the Fire Horse, a symbol of vitality, creativity and spirited energy.
Duke of York Square will be transformed with glowing red lanterns and a special Lunar edition of the Saturday Fine Food Market. Savour authentic delicacies – from delicate dim sum to pillowy bao buns – alongside sweet treats and artisanal surprises.
The festivities extend beyond the table. Dazzling lion and dragon dances will sweep through the Square, accompanied by the pulse of traditional drummers and vivid bursts of colour. For younger visitors, face painting and interactive activities promise moments of joy.
Chinese New Year is a time for connection, and we are delighted to share this celebration with our local community. Whether you come for the flavours, the performances or simply to soak up the atmosphere, we look forward to welcoming you.
Join us as we usher in the Year of the Fire Horse – an unforgettable day of culture, colour and cheer.
Save the date: Saturday 21 February, 10am–4pm.
