Chelsea Summer Fete

Chelsea enjoyed its second ‘Summer Fete’ on Saturday 23 June

The event saw many local ‘institutions’ join forces to celebrate the community – including live music from Cadogan Hall, playwriting courses from The Royal Court, Peter Jones ‘storytelling’ for children, an extraordinary plant stall from Chelsea Physic Garden, National Army Museum offering camouflage themed arts and crafts and Chelsea FC Foundation teaching ball skills. Pavilion Road was pedestrianised for the day – the artisan food shops held tastings with a huge BBQ from Provenance Butcher and pop-up al fresco wine bar from Pavilion Wine, while party planners extraordinaire Sharky & George kept children entertained.

The Summer Fete is one of a number of events organised by Cadogan throughout the year – for major community event dates, please visit the ‘Explore the area’ page, or full listings at www.inchelsea.co.uk
