Here is the digital version of your property Welcome pack. The three documents below contain most of the day-to-day information about your premises and the Chelsea area, as well as the Cadogan services at your fingertips.

RETAIL CUSTOMERS

Our dedicated management service deals swiftly with all enquiries, whether for maintenance or operational issues. We carefully select retailers to work together for local, UK and international customers – creating a vibrant shopping community and the best mix leading brands and independents.

We also host regular retailer meetings to share insight on footfall, trading, security and marketing initiatives.

ALTERATIONS

The ability to alter your premises is defined by the terms of your lease. In general terms alterations will be prohibited without Landlord’s consent having first been obtained, or in some cases, the terms of a lease may prohibit alterations altogether (lease prohibitions can cover anything from minor changes to a full refurbishment). Please refer to your lease to see what restrictions there may be.

If Cadogan’s consent to your proposals is necessary, you will need to make an application for a Licence to Alter.

MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS

If you need maintenance and repair works completed we can often help. Generally, we are responsible for repairing and maintaining the outside of your property (referred to as the ‘exterior’) and any shared areas, such as hallways and the main entrance (‘common parts). Usually you are responsible for any maintenance and repair work within your property (referred to in your lease as you ‘demise’).

However, it’s always a good idea to check your lease before contacting us, as there are exceptions to the rule. Your lease will provide your with the specific information for your property.

Should an urgent maintenance problem present a threat to people or property outside the normal Cadogan working hours, please contact the Area Supervisor on emergency call 02077301630.

INSURANCE

An important part of managing the Estate is ensuring that the properties themselves are properly insured. By using one of the UK’s leading insurance providers, Cadogan aim to offer a first class service, breadth of cover and terms.

It is important to note that no cover is provided for personal contents or possessions, which must be arranged independently by the occupier. For further information, please contact:

Many business in the area wish to create external displays (namely during Chelsea in Bloom or at Christmas), extending on to the pavement or attached to the fabric of the building. While we actively encourage this, we need to ensure the safety of the public and integrity of the building are protected – please download and complete this form. Once it has been submitted we will be in touch with official approval or further questions.
