On Friday 4 October, around 300 people braved the elements and slept out at the Square to help provide others with shelter, support and hope this winter. This one night does a huge amount to raise awareness and funds for homelessness – and each year donations from this one evening fund local night shelters throughout the coldest and darkest time of the year.

Cadogan have been supporting the event since it began in 2013, which over the years has seen over £1.2m raised and more than 1,000 people taking part. Also supported by the local community, Partridges have made it a tradition to kindly provide breakfast for the rough sleepers.

This year, Glass Door will be working with seven new churches to form a fifth shelter circuit. This means about 175 individuals will be able to find safe shelter and a warm welcome every night this coming winter. We wish it wasn’t needed, but we’re glad that with the support of so many, Glass Door can provide a safety net for those who need it most.
